After packing out of Columbia, Tennessee, I travel west on IH 40 to the Mississippi River, cross into Arkansas and continue west through Little Rock, then southwest on IH 30 and turn off at the Hot Springs exit so that I can get into the hot water pools at the Quapaw. Once I am totally soaked, I the continue east thought western Arkansas, then eastern Oklahoma and finally south into northeast Texas to resume my Winter Sojourn.

It seems ever so difficult for me to get use to not having the vehicles troubles. Methinks, I can not yet grasp that the problems that I have been having with my transportation have been repaired and keep thinking that any day now, any moment, I will have to deal with all that stress once again.

My first stop is at Lake Bob Sandlin state park where I stay for two nights and enjoy being able to plug into the electricity and have hot water to shower in.
