At about eleven this morning, I pull out of the w-mart parking lot and begin the six hour drive to my next stop at Meriwether Lewis Campground on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tennessee.

From Hot Springs, I drive east on US 70 to IH 30, then northeast to Little Rock, Arkansas, right onto IH 440 around the east side of the city, across the Arkansas river and come to IH 40 where I turn east and continue across the Arkansas Alluvial Plains to the Mississippi river, then over the through, tied-arch steel bridge know as the Hernando do Soto Bridge.
