The Sage Thrasher Go Down Go Up
This species of curved-billed song bird is a medium size bird from the family Mimidae which family also includes catbirds, mockingbirds (and the tremblers which are endemic to the Lesser Antilles located in the southwestern part of the Caribbean sea.)
This bird is the only member of the genus Oreoscoptes.

Description
The Sage Thrasher are pale grey-brown on the upper-parts and white with dark streaks on the under-parts. They have a slim straight relatively short bill, yellow eyes and a long tail, although not as long as that of other thrashers.
Length: 8 1/2 inches

This bird breeds in Western North America in the mountainous areas which are included in the following:
Basin and Range Region in WA, OR, ID, NV, UT
Rocky Mountains Region in MT, ID, WY, CO, UT
Northwestern Great Plains Region in MT, WY, CO,
Nonbreeding (winter):
The winter months finds this bird in the lower mountainous areas including the following:
Basin and Range Region of south CA, south AZ, south NM, northern Mexico,
Great Plains Region in NM, TX,
Coastal Plains of south Texas
Northern Sierra Madre in Mexico
