Throughout my school years, I was always drawn to the technical classes, especially those where I could learn drafting and architecture, in fact, of all my classes, these were the ones that I excelled in. From the ninth grade through the eleventh, I would participate in the district and regional competitions and always receive ribbons of achievement.
Then in my senior year, I took the Architectural drafting course and my set of house plans received first place in both the district and regional competitions, which awarded me a seat on the bus to the state competition at the Texas A&M university in College Station, Texas, where I was to receive the Outstanding Architecture Award and the First Runner Up Ribbon.
Ever since, I have been interested in architecture, always stopping to look at a building to see how it is designed and constructed. Logically, then, this gallery has taken its place here in the photo galleries of those that interest me the most.
