The 2026 Journey, Oregon: The Ainsworth State Park

Summer Sojourn, Day Fourteen
Day Fourteen: Away from the Rain Shadow
After driving down IH 5 through Washington State yesterday afternoon, I arrive at the state park around eight pm and set up my campsite by rolling out my electrical cords and plugging into the electrical receptacle. A short time later, a ranger arrives and asks if I have a reservation, which I reply, "Yes, I do." The ranger then looks on here clipboard and asks me my name, which I give to her and then she begins to recite a memorized spiel as if it was a sales pitch. I reply, "Ok, thank you", and then climb into the jammer through the driver′s door. She then walks back up the loop road towards the ranger site.
This morning, I awake at about seven am, step outside, gather my shower gear and then return to the jammer, when I open the rear lift door and begin preparing my f-meal. Once my breakfast is ready, I climb inside and enjoy the meal whilst I pound keys form most all of the rest of this day. I do stop at about six, step outside and prepare a full cookpot of my Repast recipe, adding dried tomatoes near the end. This batch of my Repast recipe serves as my e-meal for three days.
