The beginning of this year finds me in the south of Mexico in the state of Michoacan. I am able to locate a hall in the capital city of Morealia and from there find the location to other halls, one in particular that I wanted to visit was in Patzcuaro, Michoacan.

After some time in this mountain high city, I drive to the Pacific coast and stop at Playa Azul, Michoacan and here overnight near the beach.

In English, this town is Blue Beach and appears to be a long time tourist beach town, however, methinks this town has seen better days.

Still, I am surprised by a beautiful morning suntouch.

Returning to Texas after my visit to the south of Mexico, I travel up the coast and stop at Goose Island state park. Early the next morning, as the fishermen and rangers are all heading out into the bay waters, I rise and watch the dayspring.

As the sunglow illuminates the sky, suddenly, the sun breaks the horizon and I have only moments to catch the suntouch.

Leaving Oak Harbor, Washington on Tuesday, 19 October, 2010, I cross Puget sound, drive west on US 101 to and overnight in Port Angeles, Washington. The next morning I begin the drive south on US 101 to visit the lighthouses on the northern west coast.

There are a few Washington lighthouses that I visit but I continue south into Oregon and visit some of the Oregon lighthouses.

As this first day begins to wane, I stop at Hug Point wayside to prepare my Repast and soon after eating, I grab my camera, walk down to the beach and begin snapping photos of an extraordinary sunset.
