Full Flower Moon
The full moon in May is when the warming weather of spring brings forth flowers in abundance. Other names for this full moon are the Corn Planting Moon and the Milk Moon.

My first photo of this full moon was a couple hours after midnight.

Then, after the sun set on this day, I resumed my photo shoot and I tried a couple of times to photograph the full moon but the clouds were too many and too dense and ended up with several shoots of the moon with black spots.

Still, I told myself, the moon is not going anywhere so I waited for the clouds to move out of the way.

Then, I changed my scene selection to dusk which turned the color of the moon into a light burnt orange.

(Day
927 TB) 49°F. 6:00 am, sun
Arise and see the sun just above the distant mountains, dress in my fall blues, grab my computer bag and walk in for coffee and com.
After I walk up and get my second cup, about ten this morning, I pack out, drive west on SR 84, but before leaving town, I stop at the g-mart for a bag of ice and some vegetables. Then I continue west to US 91 and then turn south towards West Yellowstone. Turning left at US 20 takes me into the national park where I drive slow looking for wildlife along the Madison River.
A little after nine this evening, I retire to the jammer to get horizontal but shortly after, I hear something thrashing nearby and so I stick my head out the window only to see a large bull buffalo right next to the front of the jammer. As I am slowly closing the window, I notice the moon rising up from behind the horizon.
This is when the realization comes that I am not done with taking photographs today. Grabbing my camera, I begin snapping photos of the flower full moon.

Overnighting on the Hall property
Awake before six to full daylight but to the sound of complete quite. I immediately drive off site and head home so as to take a hot shower, put on fresh clothes, put in a load in the washer and then head back to the Hall.
I drive in and park my van right by the flower bed and take my position at the gate. Soon, several begin arriving, first Roger, his family and others. A steady flow of trucks and cars begin to arrive. Standing by the entrance, I ask each if they have a hard hat and a badge to which everyone says yes. Then, I send them to the parking spaces assigned for the workers.
