Food is The Best Source
The best source for all our body needs is in the food we eat, if it is the right food. On this website, the right foods are called Living Food.
This list can be view at
Foods to Eat page it is these foods that will go a long way to cure and prevent nutrient deficiency and disease.
The Foods to Avoid
There are however, foods that do little if any good to provide the correct nutrition for our bodies and consistent eating from the
Foods to Avoid list will eventually cause deficiency and disease.
What If?
Without the full amount of these nutrient, your body can not function at 100 per cent. A slight drop in the amount that the body needs each day will cause a deficiency in that nutrient. A nutrient deficiency, if left unresolved, will cause a disease.
A very well documented example is the deficiency in Vitamin D which is the cause Osteoporosis.
An Imperfect World
Ultimately, the best source for all our body needs is in the food we eat, provided we eat the right foods at the right time in the corrects portions. This we should at least try to do with our food choices.
However, since this is an imperfect world, oftentimes, the best food choices is just not possible all the time. So, this is why it is a good idea to supplement our diet with those nutrients that are missing in the food we choose.
So, the first choice of supplements should be the essential nutrients, which list of the essential nutrients is on the previous page.
However, even if you are eating quality food all the time, our bodies need more that just food to maintain good health and live well, we need a Better Way.
On this site, this Better Way is called The Real Way and the basis for this better way is a life style change, one which is a simple approach towards good health and living well, one which embraces all of our primary innate needs.
This life style involves learning seven different steps as we walk on the path to life. Too, we should endeavor to become adept with each of the seven steps which will help us obtain our goal of walking on this path leading to the summit.
The seven steps are: air, exercise, food, prayer, sleep, supplements and water. To learn more about each of the steps, please find them in appendix five, entitled The Quill Strokes, and the section under this heading called
The Real Way.
