The campground is located on the beach side of US 101 just north of Brookings, Oregon.

The price for camping in D-Loop is not less than other loops in this state park, however, it should be because of the highway noise that permeates this area.

The highway noise is really annoying but there is a reprieve from the noise sometime after midnight.
