Deschutes River State Park Campground
Location:
The campground is accessed from IH 84 about fifteen miles east of The Dalles, Oregon. This park is found at the confluence of the swift, green waters of the Deschutes river into the Columbia river.
Coordinates: 45.634000, -120.908100
Elevation: 240 feet
Geographical Region: Basin and Range
Ecoregion: Columbia Plateau

The Amenities
Onsite:
The park has 32 miles of bike trails and 7.5 miles of hiking trails. The electric connections have 50, 30 and 20 amp plugs available.
The park has firewood sale, ice sales, a boat launch ramp and a recycling station.

Nearby:
The lower 18 miles of the Deschutes River is part of the park's area for public access and recreation on the river. The area is great for steelhead and trout fishing, rafting, hiking, and horseback riding.
