In 1976, the first restoration of the light began and in 1991, a solar powered light was installed in the tower. Ongoing renovation are being done.
Coquille River Light was previously known as Bandon Light, is located near Bandon, Oregon. It is currently under the direction of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department as a part of Bullards Beach State Park. The tower is 40 feet high with a focal height at 47 feet.
The lens is a forth order Fresnel with a range of 12 nautical miles or 14 miles.
