QUIRE ELEVEN: CHAPTER TWELVE
The Quest for The Solace

The Chapter Twelve Index Go Down Go Up
The Founder of The Brotherhood
It is the grandest comradery, fellowship and sharing ever found on this earth, that is, the brotherhood which began almost two thousand years ago when the son of David walked upon the earth seeking disciples he could teach this brotherhood to. (Matthew 23:8) Most rejected him, many scorned him, some of his disciple left off following him and one betrayed him for a meager amount of money.
Nevertheless, those who believed what he taught and who came to love him, stayed with him, and continued as his disciples even after he was murdered. They continued to preach the message he taught them to preach and in doing so, continued to build this brotherhood. (1 Peter 2:17)
Of course, the one who is being discussed is Jesus, the Nazarene. (Matthew 2:23)

The Disciples
Those who followed him while he was on earth, became his disciples, are evident as those ones being recorded in the Bible, but who are his followers today, his true disciples in this modern world?
Every where you go, there are now numerous religions, with their churches full of people would say, I am a Christian! But does their just saying they are, make it so?
According to Jesus himself, no, just saying one is a Christian does not a Christian make. On the contrary, Jesus said that many of those who claime to be Christians, he would instead call Workers of Lawlessness. (Matthew 7: 22, 23)

So, How Does One Today, Identify True Christians?
Yes, how would a sincere person find out? And, how would this person locate the brotherhood today? Please continue to read the several parts of Chapter Twelve, but, especially begin with the Preface.
