Interestingly, it is during this particular Journey of a Thousand Days that the days of my years will enter into what I have begun calling the Final Span of Days. This period of life, that is the Final Span of Days only amounts to 3653 days (or ten years) and is when a person during their life journey enters the time when they are between seventy and eighty years of age.

This Final Span of Days was foretold in the Bible during the time of Moses, when he was inspired to write at Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten (seventy years): and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (eighty years), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Due to the disobedience of the first man and first woman this limitation has been the lot of all mankind ever since. (Romans 12:5) There have been only few exceptions when healthy individuals live to a hundred years of age, and even fewer who live past one hundred and ten years.

Still, according to Psalm 90 and verse 10, even these long lived ones are filled with trouble and sorrow during their life; such trouble and sorrow come from sin. This, my friends, is why God sent his son to die for us. He came here to buy back what that one man had lost for us. (Romans 5:19)

Mankind so needs the coming Kingdom of God to take those of God′s people into the paradise where all will have the full blessings of God.

Methinks that to be among those who live out their final span of days and even more, one must come to love God wholeheartedly. This Love for the Most High God was commented upon by a person in the first century, as recorded at Mark 12:32 Teacher, you spoke well, in line with truth, ‘He is One, and there is no other besides him’; 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

This Journey of a Thousand Days will begin for me on Wednesday, 22 August 2018 and continues until Monday, 17 May 2021. Further, each of the following parts will encompass only one hundred days of this journey.

The words quilled by the apostle John in the fifth chapter of his first letter has important meaning for us in these last days.

After finding on the Oregon coast, relief from this year′s summer heat, I now travel eastward to the high desert where I meet up with a friend with whom during prior years, I have spent many a summer day camping, stargazing and even working together with in preaching the Good News of the Kingdom.

After a month dwelling upon the Gulf Coast and now with the re-acquisition of Need Level ever so close, I strike out once again to follow the changing seasons, doing so at the end of this year by striving to stay ahead of the cold fronts and out of the constant rain. However, the ongoing vacuum problem in the jammer has me begin looking for it′s replacement.

When, at the end of the last section, I have received a Godsend, I find that there is still need to wait on the state of Texas to catch up.

After a very long cold spring, I finally arrive at Yellowstone park just in time for the Strawberry Full Moon only to be greeted with a totally cloud filled sky.

Searching to avoid the continental heat, I drive to the west cost and spend two long month enjoying cooler temperatures but also having to put up with several weeks of constant rain. I then leave the North Wet to travel to the southern desert to help a brother with a project.

Having driven from southern California across the desert to Texas, the into the Hill Country for a short stop, I then headed to the south of Texas in the Citrus Zone where I find my winter hiatus for one more cold season. Upon arriving, I begin putting together Episode Three, Journey to Lenapehoking, compiling it in the preformatted template that I had created earlier and the Story Keeper begins to take shape.

At the end of February, I pack out of the Texas citrus zone, take a leisurely but very cold drive through northern Texas and then return to Southern California to complete the restoration of the Palm Avenue Rental.

After spending all of March and the first two weeks of April, the restoration of the Palm Avenue Rental is as far as I can take it. Now, there is mostly painting, which Richard and Kim plan to do. I tell Richard that I will be back in the fall, bid good bye to my friends, pack out and resume the journey on, always in search of more adventure and those ever so scarce perfect photo opportunities.

The journey on takes me next to north central Colorado where I sojourn for the month of May with long time friend Gordon. Next, the journey on takes me to The Island where I sojourn for over a month to work on a couple projects, while I visit with my spiritual family here.

With the projects on the Island done, I have to wait nearby for more time to pass to receive items purchased online and to renew my license plate tab.

Upcoming in Part Eight of this Journey of a Thousand Days, is the day when I come upon 0 DR70, in my countdown, when I reach the first limit that man has caused to be put upon himself because of his disobedience to God. (Genesis 3:11)

After having crossed the climate divide when I drove out of north Texas into Oklahoma during the last week of Part Eight, I have been wanting to get back to the dry side but the incoming cold fronts have kept me from there causing me to linger in the wet zone. During this time, I begin slowly working my my south in Texas towards my winter hiatus.

This one hundred days may be when I start to finally start to approach what I eventually want to achieve in my quest for need level, or arrive at a point in my life more so than I have every done before. Too, for me to accomplish this endeavor will need much prayer and trust in Jehovah and even more willingness to let go of things. (Proverbs 3:5 -6)

Eventually, what does happen, I that I was able to drop off the contents of one more large plastic bin, now being down to three. Then, I was able to leave there three bins with my sister Becky and her husband David to hold them for me.

After having to leave the bottom of Texas much sooner than I would have due to a very hot winter there, I then travel first north, then east leaving the dry side entirely on my travel to visit friends in Tennessee.
