The Pinnacles Nat′l Park Campsite, California

The Campsite
Pinnacles National Park Campground, Hollister, California
The campground is located on SH 25 about thirty miles south of Hollister, California. There is no access to the campground from the west side of the park.
Too, this campground is located approximately a two hours drive south of San Jose in California′s Central Coast region, which makes this park remote enough to avoid massive throngs of visitors, but close enough to the Bay Area to be a good day-trip option.

Entrance Fee: $15.00
Access and Senior pass holder have free entrance.

Extinct Volcano
Pinnacles National Park protects a wilderness area containing the remains of half of a long-extinct volcano. It offers rugged hiking trails over high rock formations and through talus caves.

Back country hiking, wild life viewing, gift shop and more.

Nearby:
Coastal cities of California, Santa Cruz and Monterey to the west.

The Camping
General Information:
Pinnacles Campground is accessed only from the east side of the Park as there are no connecting roads between the east entrance and west entrance of Pinnacles.
The campground has reservable RV sites, tent sites, and group sites.
The campground store is open daily from 10 to 4.
Oak trees provide shade at most campsites.
Check current conditions for campfires.

Fees:
36 Electric RV sites: $36.00
99 Tent sites: $23.00 (non-electical)
Access and Senior Pass Holder receive half off camping fees.
14 Group site: (non-electrical)

Campground Includes:
RV sites have 30 amp electrical, water, shared picnic tables, fire rings and barbecue pits.
Tent sits and group sites have a picnic table, fire ring, food storage locker and access to water.
The campground has bathrooms with flush toilets and a coin-operated shower.
There is also a dump station available.
The campground has a swimming pool, which is open April through September.
